Chiara Vercesi
Chiara Vercesi is an Italian illustrator based in Amsterdam whose work spans across editorial and commercial projects. With a strong focus on Science & Health, Chiara loves bringing empathy into complex topics and believes that even the most technical subjects deserve to be told in a warm and accessible way. When she is not busy working with clients, Chiara dedicates her time to making the illustration industry more accessible for emerging talent through mentoring sessions, portfolio reviews, and lectures. Beyond the drawing board, she is usually chasing good conversations, tending to my plants, or listening to music. Chiara lives in Amsterdam but don’t bike, and will happily drink cappuccino after 11 am.
In 2024 Chiara launched and co-runs ILLUMINATE; a community for creative professionals in Science, Health, and Tech, together with British illustrator (and buddy) Ollie Hirst.
